I purchased this camera exclusively for underwater photography. The Olympus underwater housing is a really good size and all controls are accessible.
I think the camera takes a decent photo, and the flash is quite acceptable. I am a little disappointed in the shutter lag, though. There's a rather lengthy pause between pushing the shutter button and the actual shutter actuation. I know that there's a lot happening in the camera during that time, but you have to hold the camera really still so that you don't end up with a blurry picture. I wish it was a faster process.

As a social and adventure group organizer, I need to have a camera that delivers quality memories. I love my Olympus and take it with me wherever I go. From space shuttle launches to skydivers, hang gliders and zipliners, to casual social events. All of my images were perfect for websites, pages of my book and the book cover as well. I give the camera a 100%
