 Not enough room for big laptops Jun 21, 2008

The Lowepro Slim large is a pretty thin bag. It did fit my Dell 17" inspiron computer. But just barely. The two pockets on the front are very small and could only just hold the power cord in one and the mouse in the other. But they made the front stick out funny and the flap hard to close. It wouldn't hold anything else. It is essentially like a sleeve bag. I ended up returning it because it didn't hold enough stuff. But if you want just a thin, light bag, for just the laptop then this would be good.

Item was exactly as described. Fits my 17" laptop wonderfully. Two handy pockets under flap for power cord, mouse, etc. Padded shoulder strap and nicely padded laptop area.
Arrived quickly.

The bag is very lightweight and nicely put together. However, my 17" HP fits very tight. I don't know if the HP is over-sized compared to other manufacturers, but I wouldn't recommend this bag if you have an HP.

When all you need is to carry your laptop, this is the perfect bag. It's slim line, light and highly functional. Not much space, so this is for packing light or in addition to another briefcase or book bag, but that's what I like about it. No muss, no fuss...it does what it needs to do! Great quality product, been using it for over two years and it hasn't failed me yet.
