This should be a build-in on all cameras. Great product to use while taking pictures outdoors. The ability to remove it if needed is also a plus.

By Bob K The product works as expected allowing more comfortable viewing of the LCD in bright sunlight. I may have to rid myself of the unnecessary habit of viewing each shot after I take it, which is, as you would expect, a bit cumbersome with the shade installed. For now the positives outweigh the negatives and the shade provides good functionality for its intended use.

This accessory is a must to get. It fits perfectly on the camera and it does what it is supposed to do - that is keep the LED screen clean. Opening it to view the LED is a little tricky at first but once you get the technique down, it works outstandingly.

The device works as stated. The problem is that it slips off too easily. It latches on by sliding it down over the eye piece. The problem is that to open it and see the screen it slides back up and becomes loose. Every time.
