1Poor Service - No Response  Aug 25, 2010 By A.G.
I purchased yellow ink for my Xerox Phaser 8560 MFP printer. A poorly wrapped package arrived in the mail. I opened the package. Inside was what looked like a normal order but it wasn't. It was a Xerox box for ink like past boxes. It looked the same. The ink inside was packaged as in the past. However the product was for another Xerox printer. It would not work in my printer. I looked on my invoice for a phone number. THERE WAS NONE!! I looked for an E-mail address. THERE WAS NONE!! I looked on the outside of the package for an address. The return address was smeared. It was from someone other than who I ordered the product from. I sent an E-mail through Amazon to them. They did NOT REPLY!

I WOULD NOT ADVISE ANYONE TO USE THIS PERSON, COMPANY WHOEVER THEY ARE.

I attempted to contact Amazon about the problem through their E-mail auto response. It refused to let me respond. I phoned the customer service line and explained my problem to a NON-AMERICAN customer 'lack of service' representative who tried to credit me for other orders. I requested to speak with an AMERICAN SUPERVISOR WHO COULD SPEAK ENGLISH at least 10 times. I was put on hold and held and held... Ann or whatever her name was came back on the line and tried to resume service which began the whole mess again. I requested to again speak with an AMERICAN supervisor who could speak English. I was put on hold again. This went back and forth like this for a while then she hung up on me...

I hope some one can do something about the lousy lousy lack of customer service...

This review is not about the ink refills or their quality, but about the price being charged by this Amazon vendor. The Amazon vendor is listing the refills at $120 -- when Xerox sells the same thing on its own Web site for $89.

The solid ink for Xerox Phaser products are hard to find here in NC. I don't think it's a norm for people to have this type of laser printer in their home like in CT. I have to order mine online. They are expensive and you have to buy four different colors. I'm thankful that I only have to order them every few years.
